WHITE WINES

Retsina (Kourtaki) [Greece] £13.50
A wine characterised by its pine resin flavour. A favourite in the traditional Greek tavernas and has gained popularity recently world wide with its unique taste. Produced from Savatiano grapes from Attica. Its robust nature makes it a good companion to our meze with the diverse flavours.

Thisbe (KEO) [Cyprus] £14.50
Light bodied, medium dry, fruity wine with a distinctive floral aroma. Apples and hints of peach on the palate. Produced from the local Xynisteri grown at the Akamas region in Paphos. The grapes are cropped early in order to obtain low alcohol content.

Chardonnay (Nicolaides) [Cyprus] £15.50
A lovely fresh chardonnay with a yellowish straw colour. Aromas of fruits (pears, melon). Smooth on the palate with lemon and citrus overtones.

Moschofilero (Boutari) [Greece] £17.90
Pleasant and fresh from the semi aromatic Moschofilero grape. A brilliant, crystal-clear, white yellow colour with green tints. A well balanced wine that has a delicate flavour with aroma of fruits (melon and citrus), flowers (white rose) and a mild acidity.

RED WINE

Ayia Mavri [Kilani, Cyprus] £14.50
Well structured and full bodied with a rich bouquet. Made from Cabernet Sauvignon, Mataro, Grenache and Carignan. Black plum, cherry and vanilla are evident. Moderate acidity with some drying tannins and a long finish.

Notios Red (Gaia) [Greece] £17.90
Notios (tr: the Southerner) is made 100% from low-yield Agiorgitiko (St George) grapes. This is an ultra modern, young, yet sophisticated wine with a velvet carpet of red berries and cherries with a cut of fresh acidity. Deeply coloured with a discreet woody scent. A low tannin content underscores its rich, well structured, velvety body.

Yiannakohori (Kir Yianni) [Greece] - 2003/2004 £23.50
[Merlot, Xinomavro] Youthful and smooth with a rich, complex bouquet that discreetly highlights white pepper and cedar. Plenty of Xinomavro colour in the nose with the Merlot softening the tannins. On the palate cinnamon and raspberry. Finely balanced with a long aftertaste.

SPARKLING WINES

Cair Brut [Rhodes, Greece] £25.00
Champagne style with rich, fine flow of bubbles. Made from quality Athiri grapes. On the nose full of apricot and brioche aromas. Balanced in the mouth between fruit, alcohol and acidity.

Lanson Champagne [France] £45.00
[Chardonnay, Pinot Noir, Pinot Meunier] A pleasant racy wine with a long and lingering taste. To be enjoyed at all occasions. A bouquet of ripe fruits and citrus create a sensation of plenitude and lightness.
